Hi everyone! smile
I just wanted to let you know that my new interview for Adventure-Treff has just gone live. This time I had the chance to have a detailed look back at probably one of the most popular adventure game series of the 90s together with writer and co-designer Aaron Conners (Under a Killing Moon, The Pandora Directive, Tex Murphy Overseer, Three Cards to Midnight, Three Cards to Dead Time). So if you're interested in the Tex Murphy series, this article should be very, very interesting for you as Aaron shares many stories and anecdotes from the creation of the games.

Aside of that, the article also contains info on the reception of the Three Cards games and the current situation over at Big Finish Games.
I really hope you'll enjoy the article! smile

So their secret project may in fact be Tex Murphy, that's good news.

Nice interview, and nice to hear that Tex is still thought about these days. It was one of the best, and most enjoyable series ever produced.

I for one would love to see another installment.

I get the impression that these guys have no idea just how much they contributed to the advancement of the industry, and how much entertainment they provided. The hardware side of the industry benefited too. It was nearly impossible to resist upgrading just to squeeze the best possible game play out of them. When it came to Overseer, you just had to have a new DVD player, at least I did.

It was a sad day when Microsoft decided to acquire Access, they did some things well, but gaming certainly wasn’t one of them.

I'm really glad you like it! smile

What I also found very interesting was the part where Aaron was talking about casual games.
It's quite a pity that they made such bad exeperiences with the casual market as I would have liked to see more games like Three Cards to Midnight. frown

You're definitely not alone with that wish!
Who knows, maybe at one day we'll indeed be able to celebrate the return of Mr. Murphy. If that ever happens it will be a great day for us adventure fans for sure. smile

:Sigh: I really wish they could get another Tex game out. That's got to be one of my all-time favorites.
