Hi ya dwn_force I found a couple of websites that said they had saved games. However, I know nothing about those sites and personally would not download a saved game from an unknown site. The BioWare website has a character creator to import to Dragon Age 2, but that doesn't seem to be helpful for you. Have you checked a Walkthrough like this one to see if you can get past your stuck spot?

I'm not sure from your post whether your game is physically freezing after the Jarvia fight, or whether you are stuck, but if you're stuck, I assume you're helping Lord Harrowsmith? In which case after you defeat Jarvia you must go back to Harrowsmith and talk to him. He's in his mansion. He tells you that you must do one more quest for him ( and then you can pick up a new party member, too ).
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Is there such a thing as getting a saved games say @ a cut scene for DA Origins? I have not been able to get past Jarvia, and have completed everything else. I don't know what it is, but I am stuck there. So I began DA 2 . I know with the character creation it is probably not possible ,but thought I would ask. thanx! If you just can't defeat Jarvia you can go out and gather more experience and better equipment which some have done. I don't know how far along you are. If you are like me and can't do all the combat in a game you can always cheat. You can find a list of cheat codes here. There is also a Trainer here but you have to be a member to be able to download it.
You laugh because I'm different I laugh because you're all the same
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

Thanks Oldman, I couldn't find those cheat codes. I was sure they existed, but I couldn't find them.
Thanks Karsten.
How's it coming dwn_force?

Oops, sorry, I misread your post, dwnforce. I just played through the Jarvia sequence at level 14 and it was still really tough (this is my fourth time through the game). The best party for this fight is heavy on mages. In mine I have Morrigan almost all the way through the Entropy tree so she can paralyze groups of people without harming party members, and/or put them to sleep, so your fighter(s) can take out one or two enemies at a time. Of course the top end of the room is heavily trapped, so you want to keep your fighters or assasins from chasing up the stairs. I also had Wynne using glyphs and Paralyze/Stone Fist and buffs, and of course healing all the time, with my assassin backstabbing with poisoned blades and disappearing in and out of the fight. The fighter du jour - in this case Alistair -- just kept whaling away at the weaker enemies while the mages kept Jarvia herself nicely locked up with freezing, paralysis, sleep and horror so she can't do too much damage, and whenever she disappeared, Morrigan shot another group level spell in her general direction. I don't do well in this battle without my two mages; the fighters tend to go down pretty quickly. But that's probably because I don't seem to build good fighters. I usually play a rogue/mage game, with heavily built rogue/assassin types. Fighters often end up as sacrificial lambs in my games. Hope that helps.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.
