How do I get the roses from the grave of Luciana Hartner or on the left side of the road going to the castle? I think they are needed for the skull and hat puzzle.

Hi lgn, this is a question for Hints forum. smile Dracula 3 isn't a Darkside game. A Darkside mod or Admin should be along soon to scoot you across.

Thanks, L4L!

lgn, did you have the conversation with Luana regarding all the things you need to collect to bring to her? That's the trigger for being able to cut the roses by the grave. You should already have a knife in your inventory for this.

Well, I have backtracked again. Still no roses for the skull & hat puzzle. I am using your walkthrough to actually play Dracula Mystery Trilogy. Could there be another solution to getting the roses (or whatever is needed) for this puzzle? Hope So.

Which skull & hat puzzle is this? think I can think of only one, and that is near the end of the game, and needs nails, not roses. The only reason you need to cut roses is to give them to Luana at her request. But you need to trigger that dialogue first before you can cut them. Can you pinpoint the part of the walkthrough where you're at right now? smile

I am in the chapel; talked to Janos; played the blood, sweat & tears puzzle; have the syringe to use on the 7th skull. Arno told Janos he would return for him. Where would I get nails?

The nails are already placed in some of the skulls -- not all of them. They just need to be moved across as necessary onto the correct skulls. The drawings in your documents folder should help you work out which ones. No need for roses. luck

Please help with the 7 gargoyle pillars. I have the bottle of blood, but can't go further with them. I have tried going counterclockwise.

The bottle of blood should already be in the mouth of the first pillar -- the one right of the clearing with a circular metal hatch on the floor. You don't need to move the bottle of blood. Draw the correct symbol in the panel above it, so that the symbol glows and stays visible in the panel.

Then move anti-clockwise to the pillar to the left of you in the circle. Now you place a different item in the mouth of that pillar, and draw a different symbol. And so on.

MaG's walkthrough has a step-by-step with diagrams if you are unsure. smile
