But anyway, I just made a silly little game in AGS called Night and Day.
I've been learning the scripting language somewhat, so for practise/exercise I've tried to do a little game that is set in Reality-on-the-Norm.

In case you have never heard of Reality-on-the-Norm (RON): in 2001 Ben Croshaw (5 days a stranger) created the first game set in RON and since then over 80 RON games have been made.
Most RON games are short and on the silly side and good fun, so I recommend trying out a couple. Well known developers like Dave Gilbert and Grundislav also made a few RON games.

The nice thing is that all the backgrounds and characters are free, so anyone can use them to add a new game to the series. That way I could concentrate on scripting and didn't have to deal with art (can't draw a matchstick man anyway).

Far from a silly game, IMO.

Although there was one almost glitch I found. Not sure if this happened to anybody else, but...

[POSSIBLE SPOILER]

I found it extremely difficult to leave the city hall. At first I thought the game froze and restarted from an earlier saved game. Then I tired again, and found that by repeatedly clicking at the bottom of the screen, the character would inch her way down the screen. Finally, it triggered the exit sequence after probably 20 clicks.

There will be a new (hopefully improved) version soon, so I'll try to make leaving the City Hall easier too. I've not yet heard of the game freezing though.

edit: the new version is up. It addresses a few gameplay issues, including leaving city hall, and adds a walkthrough.

I liked the game HandsFree! Good puzzles and a good bit of humor. I particularly liked the phrase solution at the end.
