Ok, I'm an idoit. My box was not set correctly so can't get in spider temple. I really didn't get the whole setting the box thing. Anyway to figure this out without staring over back with Tara and the card symbols? This whole process escaped me. Do I have to do it all over again cause I didn't get it the first time. Help!
Thanks,

Kathy

Kathy,

I presume that you can do that spider puzzle anytime before entering the temple.
Try now and see. luck

Hi Kathy,

Can you remember the symbols on the three cards that Tara gave to you? Can you remember how many flashing orbs there were? If not, then sick yes you'll need to go back and redo both these parts.

Here's a step-by-step:

By speaking to Tara, she will give you three cards in turn, and you should make a note of the symbol on each one.

One of the documents in your game package has a circular decoration with similarly shaped symbols. This is the document you use with the plastic spiders. Place one spider on each of the symbols Tara gives you. (Or if you don't have the plastic spiders that came with the game box, just use something else. It's just fun with the spiders. )

By counting how many coloured flashing orbs there are after completing the orb puzzle, you now know how many spaces to rotate the spiders from their original spots.

Make a note of the new symbols after you have clockwise-rotated the plastic spiders.

Those new symbols can now be entered onto the spider box in your inventory.

luck

If you still have problems, let us know.

I am off to give this a try. I did write the symbols down but lost the notes and went back, before leaving the house and went back and got new symbols. I didn't understand rotating the spiders, I was looking for someting in the game. My spiders are paper that came with the game.
Thanks in advance and I'll let you know what happens. Personally, I don't appreciate games that do this kind of thing there you don't know if you have it till you further in the game.
THANKS!!

I am clearly doing something wrong. I went back and started all over again, got the same symbols, got out the spider diagram and put the spiders on it, rotated 4 time.... wrong. I tried moving the spideres up 4 spaces, clockwise 4 times, everyway I could think of and ..no. Here are my symboles,1/ the solid black triangle shape, 2/the solid black looking roundish rock shape, and 3/ the solid X with the circle around it with a little blob. Had 4 vibrating orbs so suppose to rotate 4 x clockwise. From the spider diagram, starting with the top symbole as #1, a cross with blobs at each end and a mark at the top, what symboles should I be setting going clockwise?
I know there is a simple solution and I just can't grasp it!
THANKS!!!
Kathy

Just be aware that the first symbol you work out won't necessarily appear as the first symbol on the spider box in the game. As long as you have the correct symbols on the box in any order, then it should work.

So, if your four orbs are correct, then these should be the symbols you need:

1 - Symbol at extreme North, the cross with a mark at the top.

2 - The solid X with a circle around it.

3 - Symbol at extreme South, the wonky half-moon.

THANK YOU!!!!!!! I'm in! OK, my problem was I was doing it in order and since the cross with the mark on top did not come up with the first symbol I figured all my symboles were incorrect. When you said they did not have to be in order.... light bulb moment!
Thank you for your speedy replies and patience with me. Was ready to tear my eyelashes out! : )
Gameboomers people are the best, they never fail to help.
Again, THANK YOU!!
