Winfrey, let's just say my garlic powder and garlic granules are NOTHING like what you get in a store. I grind up the garlic cloves and put in a small food processor with a little dry white wine, preferably a very nice Pinot Grigio. Then I dehydrate it and either grind to a powder or leave as granules to toss into a sauce or to put in a bit of hot water to rehydrate and saute.
