This is a clear violation of the Migratory Bird Act in that the child in question is not, in point of fact a bird, nor in the least bit, migratory.

[It helps to read this in a British accent]

Frustrated with her family's materialism and social conformity little Emily soared off on the 31st of July 1970 with Jonathan Livingston Seagull and his friends...

Little Missie was flying in a skydiving plane:
Unfortunately she fell out of the plane
Fortunately she had a parachute on
Unfortunately the parachute didn't open
Fortunately there was a man trying to catch her
Unfortunately he missed

Before his ankles grew wings, Mercury had to stand on real birds to fly.

Decision time folks, and it's a tough one.

After due consideration and a glass of wine, an honourable mention goes to Geo for his clever "fortunately/unfortunately" entry, but just pipping him was DocPaul with the bizarre "Before his ankles grew wings, Mercury had to stand on real birds to fly."

Congratulations, Paul!!
