Spoonerisms switch the sounds of words in a phrase to make other words, normally by accident.
Example: chitchat (5,4) / lanky lab coat? (4,5) is... small talk / tall smock
-1. racy materials for a public servant (3,4) / movie goer nosh (7) -2. absence of fruit-filled pastries (4,2,4) / collection of tales? (4,2,4) -3. Hefner colleague's cell (5,5) / it's humerus? (5,4) -4. intrusive chef (4,4) / snug corner (4,4) -5. a devastating misfortune (1,8,4) / an embarrassed raven? (1,8,4) -6. wise guy (5,6) / person with flatulent mate (4,7) -7. angry prohibitionists (3,7) / poor conduct (3,7) -8. feline pelt (3,3) / obese mutt (3,3) -9. Valentine token (5,5) / close wagon (5,4) -10. packed with glee (6,4,5) / frozen with horror (7,4,4) -11. heart of a love song (4,2,6) / a light lunch (4,2,5) -12. manx characteristics (2,5) / polish areas? (8) -13. agitate a citadel (5,1,5) / use the bathroom (4,1,6)
Did you ever stop to think and then forget to start again?
