Weather mostly. Been checking prices. Lot cheaper in September but weather sounds more problematic from what I've read on the web.

Oh...hehe...weather. I wrote all this below before I noticed that. Well, I hope you can use this too. I recommend a stop on Key Largo to visit the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. They claim it is the only state park that is completely underwater. A boat takes you out to a very shallow but underwater coral reef where you go snorkeling and see a tremendous number and variety of colorful fish. It was one of the highlights of my visit to Miami/Keys.
Bob As I've grown older, I've found that my memory is not as good as I used to think it was.

Change in plans. Going to do a road trip, no flying. Can get a hotel room in Bozeman Montana for a week for what a night costs in Florida. No beaches but will get to Yellowstone and the Singing Rock. Going to save up for Florida, maybe next year.

No beaches but there is a boiling river, that's apparently a popular place to swim.

I've always wanted to go to Yellowstone. Have fun!

My coworker says we'll probably see elk, and I have no intention of getting close to them. Wild animals even if they're not carnivores can be dangerous if spooked.
