I have not seen this game mentioned here, unless I missed it. I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about this game. It looks very interesting to me. Looks like it was just released at GOG... Samaritan Paradox http://www.gog.com/game/the_samaritan_paradox

I just played the demo. I like it. Price isn't bad at all. Might get it. GOG has it. Just downloaded the game. Like a Broken Sword type game or something like that, looks great. Love the storyline too. Really a great game and for the price $8.00. Now I need a WT. Looked around but couldn't find one. Richard

As I just told m0ds when he/she very kindly provided an answer to a dumb question I asked in Glitches, despite my dislike of pixelated graphics in modern games I decided to pick up a copy of The Samaritan Paradox from GOG and I'm glad I did. So far, I'm liking it very much. In case anyone is interested, the game is still on sale for a paltry $7.99 at GOG until the 25th. Gil.

This is definitely an old school adventure! Man, I haven't cudgeled my brain this hard since...well, I don't know when. (Yeah, I let Revolution tell me how to solve the Tabula Veritatis since I hate that type of puzzle! It's worse than a slider, IMO.) Anyway, if you're nostalgic for an old school adventure, this is it and it's a good one so far. Here's a partial review of the game from a Spanish website translated by an 'extension' on Opera called In-Place Translator. (Does a better job than Google if you ask me.) "In short, The Samaritan Paradox is a great game and a great adventure game, with a truly fascinating story powerfully reminiscent of Scandinavian literature of thrillers such as the aforementioned works. The puzzles, although complicated, they are logical and can be resolved smoothly by going to reason, but there are others, very few, who come to the imagination for its resolution. The graphic aspect turns out to be one of the strong points of the proposal of Faravid Interactive, especially for lovers of the "pixel art" and achieved, with high accuracy, a total immersion in the title." http://niveloculto.com/analisis-the-samaritan-paradox/ if you read Spanish. Hey, all, I'm bumping this thread to congratulate Petter Ljundqvist for a very positive review of The Samaritan Paradox over on Adventure Gamers. Jon Vox can also take a bow since the voice actors were specifically mentioned for doing a lively, above average job. If anyone wants to play The Samaritan Paradox and needs a stumble-through, it's right here on Gameboomers. Gil.
