Try your hand at these brain-busting trivia questions. Remember, please, that you may not google or use any reference sources for the first 24 hours of this thread.
-1. What popular children’s book was written by Ian Fleming, creator of British secret agent James Bond? -2. Who designed the red, yellow, and dark blue Renaissance uniform worn by the Swiss Guard at the Vatican? -3. In what sport did sailor Alvin “Shipwreck” Kelly rise to the top? -4. In golfing circles, what is a “snowman”? -5. What brand of stopwatch is seen in the TV program 60 minutes? -6. What was the first word spoken on the moon? -7. Which mountain has the most extensive glacial system of any single peak in the contiguous United States? -8. What size were Imelda Marcos’ 2,400 pairs of shoes? -9. What are the twelve animals of the Chinese lunar calendar? -10. What is a squab?
The moon is actually more useful than the sun since the moon gives us light at night when it's dark. The sun only gives us light during the day when it's already bright out.

7. My hometown pride may be getting the better of me but I will say, Mt. Rainier.
Bob As I've grown older, I've found that my memory is not as good as I used to think it was.

Sondi, good answer! Manxman, you've now given two of the top three answers. Some count "Contact light" as the first words actually spoken on the moon, others claim the first words were "Houston, Tranquility Base here". But the first words spoken when Armstrong's foot hit the surface were, "That's one small step for (a) man..."
The moon is actually more useful than the sun since the moon gives us light at night when it's dark. The sun only gives us light during the day when it's already bright out.
