They are getting SO big. Just a little while ago they were eggs, and now they are running up and down flapping ungainly wings. Love the falcons. I'll be watching.

Four little fluffy babies all huddled together. So adorable, so wonderful. Mom and dad are feeding them mice and other icky things.

Falcon babies are 3 times the size and are up on their feet and flopping around trying to eat 'leftovers' that are scattered around. Mom and Dad falcon going nuts trying to keep up with 4 hungry babies.

All 4 falcons got banded today. I missed it! They are all sporting 'jewelry' on their legs now and pecking at the metal bands. They are HUGE. Getting visible dark feathers and huge wings spreading. Wow.

Check in the morning. Usually all 4 of them are huddled in a pile. Way too cute. I think they change the camera angle every 20 seconds or so and have 3 views. Bound to be at least one fuzzy baby in one of the camera shots. If you are lucky (and patient) you will get to see mom and dad feeding the babies a dead bird or mouse...yuk. You can tell when that happens by the babes screaming loudly in unison.

The baby falcons are as big as the parents now, tail feathers and all, and are just starting to run up and down the ledge 'trying' their wings. Not too adept yet, but soon they will fly. Wow.

The babies are ready to fledge (fly). They are all done with the baby feathers, have a nice tail and are standing on the very edge of the ledge and flapping wildly. Soon they will either dive or fall of the ledge. Let's hope the 'spotters' are there to catch them if they can't fly back up. So cute to watch them run and flap and hop.
