Tormentum: Dark Sorrow is a dark, point and click adventure game that will be DRM free. You can view the Trailer here. Check out the screens here. Check them out on Indiegogo here. Help them get Greenlit here. Tormentum, a candidate for the darkest point and click adventure game, just appeared on Indiegogo. Tormentum is a surreal adventure game, featuring moral choices. The action of the game is set in a dark world, veering between dreams and nightmare. The main protagonist, that the player takes control over, doesn't remember his name nor the place where he came from. Visiting new lands, he slowly starts to uncover the truth about himself. Sounds familiar? Nothing further from truth because, on the basis of this seemingly hackneyed plot, OhNoo Studio succeeded at creating one of the most original worlds ever seen by the adventure games genre. The dreamlike atmosphere featured in the game was inspired by the works of a Polish painter, Zdzislaw Beksinski, and a recently deceased Swiss painter, H.R.Giger, among others. The game's final appearance was also greatly influenced by the worlds presented in such games as Demon's Souls and Dark Seed. From this mixture we created a world full of darkness and depression. OhNoo Studio only recently started an Indiegogo campaign for Tormentum. Their aim is to raise funds necessary for finishing the game and the goal is to collect $9000. The game is going to be available for PC, Mac, Linux, and mobile devices. Sounds interesting? Feel free to check out Tormentum's Indiegogo page where you can find all the details about the project: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/tormentum-dark-sorrowPlatforms: PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android About OhNoo Studio OhNoo Studio is a small, three-man developing team with big ambitions and even bigger dreams. They aim to provide entertainment as well as a reason for players to contemplate their existency by creating original fantasy worlds. The studio was founded in 2013 and is located in Poland. Happy Gaming! Ana

Trying again. A small, 3 man, Polish company, OhNoo, has a campaign going on at IndieGoGo for what they call a 'surreal adventure game'. It's got a dark theme, no question about that, but the graphics are extremely interesting, based in part on the works of H. R. Giger, the guy who, among other things, designed the creature in Alien. It's described as a puzzle adventure and they're promising no DRM on the digital download, but since they're working to get it Greenlighted on Steam, I have no idea if the game will be available somewhere else if it is successfully funded. Still, they are only asking $9,000 and the digital download would be yours for nine bucks if you want to take a flyer. They do say that they'll need to meet stretch goals to have it professionally edited in English but they must already have someone around who speaks English very well since the website is well written with very few odd turns of phrase. There will be a boxed copy for those who invest at the $75 level. You can see a trailer and screenshots here. The IndieGoGo page is here. My only real criticism at the moment is the guy who voices the trailer. They should seriously get someone else. Bottom line, Tormentum is impressive and I may just bend one of my rules and toss a little in the developer's pot without worrying about Steam just to support them. They've done a lot of work on this game and it shows. Gil.

How did I miss that? Sigh, another grey cell gone, I guess. Gil.

Hey, OhNoo! Welcome to Gameboomers! I know you're really busy right now putting the finishing touches to the game and getting it greenlighted on Steam, but when you have a chance to breathe , I hope you'll come back and tell us more about Tormentum. Gil.
