Let me be number three with that fly! I have no idea how I managed to get it, after many frustrating tries--it just appeared in my inventory. As a matter of fact, I may have caught it more than once--the first session of fly-trapping ended when the fly stopped coming, and I assumed you only got so many opportunities and then had to leave the scene and come back. But when it happened a second time, I noticed the fly in my inventory, so that's probably what had happened before and I didn't even realize it...

Hi. for some reason I can't find the chapel. I found it in the demo when I purchased the game I get stuck between the 2 knights. W/T says to go N to chapel, can't go north. Someone please shove me in the right direction. thks Diane

Diane, if you are where the two knights are, there is a door which needs to be opened. Do you remember doing that? If not, here is a clue: SPOILER

The walkthru is (so far) ONLY for the Demo. In it you just pass the 2 knights and go N.

In the full game you have to do a little hocus pocus to get past those knights.

I won't give you the Spoiler unless/until you NEED it.

Hi everyone

That darn fly is driving me nuts! I caught it once and I guess it wasn't the right time to use it on the spider because nothing happened and the fly is now gone from my inventory. So now I have to catch the fly again and I'm not having any luck. The first time was pure accident. Now it seems my cursor never turns into the hand icon. <img border="0" alt="" title="" src="graemlins/pacify.gif" /> Any suggestions?

Now I'm royally stuck--I've finished the demo section, I have the spider web, magnetized metal, and can't figure out what to do next...

HELP!!

I could use a hint, please! How do you get into the "Constellation" room? I figured out the magic word on the balcony wall, which I thought would remove the shield to that room...but that wasn't the case! Now what???

Hopefully someone else will know, Dudet--you're ahead of me. I haven't been able to find the word that I need yet...

Pull the handle at the top of the doorway to the laboratory entrance. This disables the force field on the observatory. hope this helps

Richard, I have the small telescope, and am looking on the starmap for the serpens, but which way is west?
Am I looking on the wrong thing?

As long as you just click on the starmap anywhere, you'll know where to find serpens in the night sky (look for the snake-like formation of stars in the sky over the balcony).

I got it. The problem was that the drop down inventory bar was obscuring the top half of it and I had to sort of point it in the general direction.

I take one step forward in this game and feel like I've taken at least two backwards! I managed to get the scepter, although not in the manner the book implied. But now I have no idea what to do next! Is there something more to do???
