Have to leave for work in an hour but than I'm off for a week and a day. Three-thirty Sunday morning, head across town to pick up my friend and then head out of town about 4am. Fifteen, sixteen hour drive. My first time to Yellowstone and surrounding area.
I was little worried last week, the Boiling River was closed but its open now.
My crazy friend pre-ordered a pizza back in April, so if we make it in time pizza supper Sunday. This week I called in a reservation to tour an old mine outside Butte.
I've got two different hammers to hit the Ringing Rocks with.

I may get rained on a little first few days, but prepared for that.

Whoa Guybrush, You forgot to make a pit-stop at my house, not too terribly far out of the way. I want to go! Bet you won't pick me up, so you guys have a great time and be safe. Terri

I'm so jealous. When I was a kid we went to Yellowstone Park, up through the Grand Tetons, and Black Hills of South Dakota. We saw Mount Rushmore and much more. I can't remember a better trip I've ever been on. I love that part of our country. Hope you have a great trip. joe

Got back last night. Had a wonderful time. Hated to return to hot, humid Nebraska.

Well our favorite breakfast was donuts from Granny's Gourmet Donuts in Bozeman Montana, we had breakfast there 3 days out of seven other than that hard to choose. Fortunately we walked off the calories from the donuts.

I've only been out west once on a trip that included a white-water raft trip from Jackson Hole, Wyoming, a hike to the glacier at Glacier National Park in Montana, and a visit to Yellowstone. It's on my bucket list to get out there again and to finally make it to California.
