Is there a calculator some where in win 7 that I can put on my desktop. I found the cal. Thanks

I don't know if there's an easier way but this is what I did:
- open the start at bottom left of the taskbar.
- typed calculator on the "search program files".
- see calculator on the white frame.
- click-hold-drop that calculator icon into the desktop and you now have a link-icon for calculator.

You can right click the calculator program and pin it to your Start menu or the taskbar so it is always available. It also has a conversion feature which will allow you to convert temperatures, length, area and all kinds of other things.
