Try your hand at these brain-busting trivia questions. Remember, please, that you may not google or use any reference sources for the first 24 hours of this thread.
-1. What fictional character got his first name from a cricket star and his last name from a U.S. Supreme Court justice? [Hint: S H] -2. What adjective describes a North African coast, and from there has been used for pirates, apes, sheep and lions? -3. If you have a fever, you'd know what Norma Egstrom's stage name was. What? -4. What comic strip features Phil, Ruler of Heck and Prince of Insufficient Light, who carries a spoon instead of a pitchfork? -5. Which planet is closest to Earth? -6. What Marx Brother never appeared in the movies, but instead became a dressmaker and Groucho's agent? -7. What ancient civilization had a Memphis of its own, although its music scene was probably nowhere near as good? -8. Anastrophe what "Star Wars" character often uses? -9. In 2004, what new piece got added to the game Operation? -10. George Morton wrote what Shangri-Las song in crayons on a shirt cardboard insert?
The moon is actually more useful than the sun since the moon gives us light at night when it's dark. The sun only gives us light during the day when it's already bright out.

4. Dilbert Note: 5. Do you mean closest right now or the orbit that is nearest Earth's orbit? It's possible that it is the same planet at this time...I don't know. Edit: Or maybe part of the difficulty of the question is to figure that out.

Bob As I've grown older, I've found that my memory is not as good as I used to think it was.

Bob, Jarkeld, Rog Sherlock, correct! Do it often, Yoda does. Bernie, try again. We're talking orbits.
