To Ditlihi - isn't it frustratng to crash to the desktop just when you are about to complish something? I am playing on Win98. Glad to hear other people are having problems with this game so will not blame my tech problems too much on my PC but perhaps the game.

Desertlilac, I played it on Win 98 [wish I had my Win 98 back!] and had no problem with anything, except getting stuck of course :-) ..I had a Voodoo3 graphics card..wonder if that's the difference?? Glynn

My game is on a 98 Glynn and I forget the video card there but remember it was a pretty good one. Am making headway now in Tex but am at the point where he went through the door that you had to blast through then my WT says - not to fool around in here and it is CRITICAl that you do everything in order at this point, save game etc. THEN I have two pages of things to do!!!! Can't believe it - if I rush around for 2 pages doing this and that going here and there will surely never make it or am I misreading something here?

All the walkthroughs I saw seemed to agree that you had to get all that stuff done as quickly as possible, Lilac. There is a map at the UHS Hint file that may make things easier for you.

I would suggest finding the walkthrough you like best and printing this section off so you can follow it step by step...

Desertlilac, if you are where I think you are..[remember, I played it when it first came out] Are you at the place where you have to heat something on the stove, then run back to the engine room and pour fuel[or something] in the tank then pump?? If so this was tough!! I know I did that over so many times it was not funny!! You do have enough time though..I keep checking on you to see how you are doing, even though I can't help because it's been so long since I played..Have you already played "Overseer"?? Glynn

To Glynn - yep played Overseer and enjoyed it very much. Yes, I think I am right at the spot you are talking about because I am to now get a pot from the cupboard. I was trying to look in the wrong cupboard and my cursor was just driving me crazy - so have laid off Tex for a bit. Now that I know there is a different cupboard will try again. Oh geeeesssshhhh - sounds like there is even a tougher spot coming up. Grrrrrr on the progammers for these kinds of stunts - I want to see more people interaction and things to collect and simple puzzles to solve. So much for my nightly soapbox on Tex. smile Keep you posted. Am also play Dark Side of the Moon - interesting little game.

Hi Desertlilac, I remember having a problem with using the pump after putting the fuel in..but you will get it! Have you also played "UAKM"?? That one will test your patients also! :-) Good luck! Glynn
