The CD version of Schizm is actually 5 CD's. You're right. It's on 5 CD's. I misspoke. I have this game but (of course) never played it. I think I bought it used. It's sort of a Riven-style game -- difficult but with logical puzzles. Harder than Riven I think. Never played Reah either and don't have it. Reah wasn't as good puzzlewise, and there were places you could be killed without warning. Both had interesting architecture, as you can see from some of the screenshots. The living "ships" in Schizm looked amazing back in 2001 at the time of release.

This will probably be the first time many people in the US can get the DVD versions. In North America, Schizm DVD had to be special ordered online direct from Dreamcatcher back around the time of release. I don't think Reah DVD was released in the US at all, though it may have been available from import shops.
It will also be interesting to see if the DVD version of Schizm has the introductory video restored. The Dreamcatcher DVD replaced the introductory video with voice-over text. Someone on the GoG forums said it's the European DVD version, with the introductory video that for some strange reason was missing in the the US release. I have both DVD-versions but had trouble getting the game to work in XP. It froze constantly. Will give it a go now since it's definitely a type of game I love. I have both the CD and DVD-versions of Reah somewhere but of course had to buy that one too. Note that A.D. 2044 from the same developer is on Gog too. It was free for the first 48 hours.
