It seems that Lexicon Entertainment is no longer the publisher for the upcoming "AGON – The Lost Sword of Toledo," which will be released in the UK by Kalypso Media Ltd and Hungarian developer Private Moon Studios. "The Lost Sword of Toledo" is technically the fourth game in the series, and it follows the compilation of the first three episodes bundled together as "AGON – the Mysterious Codex. Professor Samuel Hunt, arrives in the picturesque Spanish city, where time seems to slow down, and is intrigued by the narrow streets, squares with an atmosphere of the Middle Ages, the silence and calm. But does this peaceful atmosphere conceal some longstanding dark secrets?
A young man, formerly known for his honesty, has recently been caught stealing treasures, and now some local families have renewed wounds of past grievance, the secrets of which have been taken to the grave. However, if the professor is to find the answers he seeks, he is compelled to unravel the entangled threads.
Professor Hunt finds a mysterious music box, an iron door in the church which has not been opened for a hundred years, and a series of strange letters - but will the Lost Sword of Toledo be found?
The Lost Sword of Toledo is the fourth episode and the second full-disc instalment in the AGON adventure game series. It can be enjoyed as a standalone game, with new characters and original puzzles. The new title has been given a range of additional features, including more detailed, manually animated characters, more realistic graphics with new 3D effects, and dialogue-oriented storytelling, while still retaining the features of the previous instalment; integrated, story-based puzzles, authentic surroundings and background music with local elements. The game will release in February, 2008. For the AGON: The Lost Sword of Toledo demo, click here or here. For screenshots from the game, click here. I was wondering because back when the "old" publisher was there, I couldn't preorder. Amazon didn't carry it either as a backorder. We'll wait and see! Thanks Becky

Hi Maggie,
I do have XP, but I still couldn't get it to play until, for some reason, I saw a problem w/ Spyware Doctor. Another game I couldn't get to play was "Keepsake". As I already have the professional version of AVG, that also has an anti-spyware feature, I felt OK in deleting Spyware Doctor. BINGO! I have no idea what the relationship would be, or whether it's relevant to your problem, because you say you do have Vista as your OS, now. As for me, I'm waiting - a long time before I switch. XP works just fine for me.
I also have a "dummy" computer w/ Me still on it. I use it to play a lot of my beloved older games. (Edited out by BrownEyedTigre)

Hi Sorry for not getting back to this thread before now, folks I am one of the people who have it on pre-order with Play.Com .... and as has already been said, the company doesn't ship to America. However, the release date at Play.Com is still showing as November 2007 so something is amiss !! Cheers. Mad

I just checked Play.com, which is not showing the game as available to pre-order at the moment. However, Amazon.co.uk has it available for pre-order at £16.99, with a release date of 22nd February. I loved the previous 3 games, so am looking forward to this new instalment.

Hi Rushes I noticed that too - and as I have a "pre-ordered acknowledgement" - at £16.99 - dated September 2007 - from Play.Com - I guess I'd better keep hoping Cheers. Mad
