Boy, this is service--got an answer back already. The saves are in the registry, very compact in size, under hkey_local_machine\software\twilight software\adventure\the sydney mystery
So there's your answer, Satch--as for me, I don't do registries...

Just got an email from Twilight Software and you do have to edit the registery to get rid of the save games. Why would they ever put the save games in the registry?

I can't imagine why they are in there, but as far as I'm concerned, that's where they can stay! Especially if they are "very compact", it wouldn't be worth the chance of fouling something up...

Here is their answer as to why the save games are in the registry.
"The registry is Windows' preferred place for application-specific configuration information, so long as the data isn't too big. Since we designed the game to run entirely from CD-ROM with no installation or deinstallation required, the registry became our only choice.
You're right, though, users aren't expected to modify the registry by hand. We should have included a utility. Thanks for the feedback!"
For me it would have been better to have an install and keep the save games out of the registry.
