No disrespect to these yearly lists or for the games of the past but I am tired of listing the same old top ten games that I have liked so much in the past. Time for me to move on. They are all good games but most are outdated technology wise so I am now only going back to games released from Jan 2013 to date. I have played more but this list only includes the games that I have enjoyed very much in that time frame. Shame (for me) there are so few.
Capri Connection Carol Reed Cold Case Summer Carol Reed: Bosch's Damnation Decay: The Mare Morningstar: Descent to Deadrock Roonsehv: Neterra Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments Stanley Parable Tex Murphy: Tesla Effect Vanishing of Ethan Carter

GreyFuss A lot of the games on my list are oldies or even ancients but the only one on it that has not yet been tweaked (as far as I know) to play on modern machines is "Black Dahlia". So, as these older games are some of the best ever made and are now available for a new generation of players to experience, I feel they are definitely worth listing

My list is older games too but I listed them because I still think they are the best games out there and are what I would suggest to people just getting into gaming. I wish I has more recent game to recommend.
Black Dahila was one of those games that stayed with me long after I played it because the plot was so good.
It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

A while back, someone in Glitches mentioned a Black Dahlia patch such that the game will run on Vista/Windows 7. I haven't tried it. Thanks, Chief - I hope more members will post their favorites.

I was going to make it easy this year by simply placing the 10 Carol Reed games on top of my list. But since I expect all of them to be moved to the Hall of Fame any year now, that would be quite pointless. Just as MaG above me, my list is the same as last year, except for one title: Amber: Journeys Beyond Blade Runner The Blackstone Chronicles The Colonel's Bequest The Dame Was Loaded The Dark Eye Kings Quest IV: The Perils of Rosella Kings Quest V Kings Quest VII: The Mask of Eternity Leisure Suit Larry I: In the Land of the Lounge Lizards Leisure Suit Larry III: Passionate Patti Monkey Island 3: The Curse of Monkey Island Morpheus Police Quest I: In Pursuit of the Death Angel Police Quest IV: Open Season Quest for Glory V Tex Murphy: The Pandora Directive Tex Murphy: The Overseer Tex Murphy: Under A Killing Moon Tex Murphy: The Tesla Effect

Thank you to all of you that posted their list. More lists needed. You all have until July 30th to vote. Why not post a list now. Chief

My List: Tomb Raider 1 Tomb Raider 2 Tomb Raider 3 Last Revelation(TR4) Chronicles(TR5) Rhem 1 Rhem 2 Rhem 3 The Tomb Raider games should go in the Darkside list. Darkside and Casual have their own lists, which are usually tallied after the Adventure game list is complete.
