I found I have not played Shadow Lake from the Mystery Case Files series. (How I missed it, I dunno)

But - I downloaded the demo, and started it up. Uh-oh; there is no cursor. I went to the Big Fish forum for that game, and saw that some players had a problem with the cursor disappearing after clicking on some object, well into the game. Nobody seems to have lost their cursor at the very start. Any sage advice here? Except for trying to get support from BF, which is usually a waste of time.

I played this game years ago without having the cursor disappear.

I moved your post over to Glitches - you might be able to get some good general advice here in terms of troubleshooting this problem.

I don't know of a specific problem with this game, but you could check fixes for problems with disappearing cursors in games like this

Or if the game's options have a choice for "custom cursor," try both the custom and the non-custom cursor. (I don't remember if this game has the "custom cursor" option, but some Big Fish games do.)

I checked that link, and the first bit of advice; "turn off mouse trails," was the answer.
(I had no idea I had turned on mouse trails) but thankyouthankyouthankyou!! for finding that. You are the greatest!
