The only one I could get installed from disk is Oblivion. I tried at least 10 other adventure games, none worked. Depending on the age of the game, this could be due to incompatible disc-based DRM rather than the games themselves. Windows 10 blocks certain "newer" versions of SecuROM and SafeDisc because they were deemed to be a security risk and caused instability on some systems. You can read more about the problem here https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2015/08/17/windows-10-safedisc-securom-drm/Of course if the games were originally made for Windows 95/98 they may have other incompatibility problems. If the games were made before 2003, the problem is unlikely due to be due to the DRM, which hadn't gotten so ugly and invasive until 2003.
