Okay, I have to vent about this game. I like it, but the interface for manipulating 3D objects, like trying to put together the torn peices of paper found in Rana Dendrinou's apartment is a pain in the neck. First it's not very intuitive, then once you know how to do it, actually moving the peices around and getting them to fit together , well forget it!
I'm tempted to look at the walkthrough for the answer to the code and not even bother putting the peices together, assuming that will work, and that I don't need to solve it to trigger something.

Louis, it's not an actual 'puzzle' putting it together because you'll find that you have at least one piece missing. After placing them next to each other in inventory, you'll notice that they could fit together, but there was a piece missing right in the middle. The last piece looked singed a little so the obvious assumption is that 2 pieces are missing. Luckily for me, I simply tried the same number in both places, one by one, and lucked out!
Try that before looking at the WT. You'll know when you get it right! ;-)
