I don't think I've seen anything but computer games here but this is an RPG so I thought there could be some interest. 7th Sea is an old-fashioned pen and paper type RPG set in pirate times in a fictional land very much like Europe. It encourages bold swashbuckling adventure.

There is a Kickstarter going on until March 13th for 7th Sea: Second Edition. It is being created by the originator of 7th Sea, John Wick. Kickstarter 7th Sea Page

This is not the typical Second Edition of a game because the original version of 7th Sea passed out of John Wick's control, changed and faded away. I played it at a few gaming conventions (in the original form) and enjoyed it. He is doing a complete fresh start to the game and there are some good deals to be had while the Kickstarter is going on.

The Kickstarter has blown up. It had an original goal of $30k and is now over $800k. This means that all kinds of stretch goals have been met and lots of books and maps are promised. At the $40 pledge level, you get the PDF format of the core rule book and all stretch goals consisting of source books, maps, etc. Currently there are 26 stretch goals.

I pledged at the $200 level that gets me a fancy book and lots of nice extras (Pirate's Booty) plus all the PDFs.

Just a quick update. The 7th Sea Kickstarter has now surpassed $1,000,000 in pledges. The previous record for a tabletop RPG Kickstarter was $684,756.
