Sony financed it, they are the publisher. Well worth having a PS4 for little gems like Everybody's gone to the rapture. It is much better than Dear Esther.
I could lose myself for hours walking around that little English village finding out what happened to all these people. It is beautiful, it's like going on holiday.
And you do get a sense of impending doom of the end of the world. It is perfection. It is the best adventure on the PS4, in my opinion.
To get a good idea, just watch a walkthrough on YouTube. It would not be that much different than actually playing the game, as it is almost entirely story driven.
