Connie, how is she doing?

Ana, Natalie is out of the hospital. She had 2 surgeries on her left eye, but they can't save it. She will have another surgery to remove it and then they will give her an artificial eye. She is still in a lot of pain from all the broken ribs and shattered ankle. Natalie has no insurance which isn't helping things at all. She is with her mother.

I'm so so sorry Connie. What a tragic event. Praying her pain will subside soon and she will adjust to her new life. My ex father in law lost an eye in his 20's and is 95 now. He said you adjust quickly, thankfully. Hugs to you and her.

Connie, so sorry to hear that she will loose her eye. But thankfully, not her life. It is so hard when one doesn't have insurance. I hope she gets all the care she needs.

Thank you all for your prayers. Natalie was very lucky. The other person (driver) in the car didn't make it.

Still praying. She's got a long recovery ahead, but living through something like that was a miracle. Sending strength for her as she recovers.
