Just recieved an e-mail from Phoenix Online Studios about an updated version of the anniversary edition of GK 1 with a download link. Seems legit and professional (they even claim to have improved the mime puzzle and updated the game engine) but the whole thing struck me as odd. And on the PO homepage there is no info about an update that I can find. I suspect this is a scam and anyone else having recieved the e-mail should probably be catious of using the download link in the e-mail before someone from PO officially confirms this is the real thing.

Or have anyone heard news of this?

It is legit. No need for concern.

This update appears to already be on Steam, but it doesn't look like it has made it to GOG yet.

The follow up to Gray Matter and any Jane Jensen project could easily be done through Phoenix Online, since they collaborated in the past and still are, apparently. Maybe we have not heard the last word from Jane.

The reason Pinkerton Road stopped making them is because they did not make the necessary funding needed to sustain and create another one. Phoenix worked for them and they are small and I can't see them risking their money to chance it.

Great. It's on GOG now as well, so I'm looking forward to seeing the differences. thumbsup

I still hold out a tiny sliver of hope that Jane Jensen will make a game again someday. It would be nice if she could team up with Daedalic like Martin Ganteföhr did. Oh, well, maybe someday we'll hear from her again.
