I don't have the greatest laptop but it's fairly new and I am able to run any game so far, but the newest Book 5 of Dreamfall is very jerky. Plus, the characters move very slow as if under water. It's hard to click on a specific spot because of the jerking. I have the settings on real low. There are a few settings that I have no idea what they do and not sure how to set them. Foe example....what is vsync??
Can someone tell me the best settings to help make the game run smoother and anything else I might be able to do to help the matter?
Thanks in advance

I don't know if you have an ATI or a Geforce video card, but this article from GeForce explains VSync pretty well.
http://www.geforce.com/hardware/technology/adaptive-vsync/technology

So turning off VSync can eliminate (or help reduce) stuttering when your frame rates are low. You may get screen tearing by turning it off, but that's not as bad as a stuttering jerky picture.

Please let us know if turning off VSync improves the stuttering for you. If not, the game may need another patch.

In general, just turn all the graphics extras off or down.

Turning off Vsync helped the lagging, along with setting everything to the lowest setting in the options.
thanks
