I have several games from Steam and have never had a problem. However, I have given up on Dead Secret and have suddenly realized that I have no idea how to uninstall the game. It doesn't seem to even be on my computer when I use the search program. Is this a problem or something I need not be concerned about?

Isn't it listed under Control Panel/Programs/Programs and Features?
Why are you giving up on it? He got stuck in a certain part of the game and couldn't find an answer to his problem - the video walkthrough didn't help. Very frustrating.

I'm not a player of the game, but if you're still looking to uninstall, did you look in this location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common
The only steam game I have is King's Quest 2015, so for me, that folder only consists of a subfolder titled King's Quest, but if I understand right, it should have a subfolder for each steam game you have installed. Also, that's the path for Windows 7

Thanks for the suggestions, all. I'll start on them if I ever wake up this morning. Oldbroad, I'm not giving up due to frustration. (We have all dealt with that MANY times!) It's just that I was close to the end and in trying to figure out what was wrong, I watched and read walkthroughs which sort of ruined the ending. I no longer need to fix the problem as I have ruined the end of the game for myself.

That's a shame. I'm glad folks here were able to help with uninstalling the game, though.
