I love the fishing part, though I prefer the fishing in Kapu Cave better, personally.
I've never actually beaten fox & geese, so if I play, I rely on that save from Rushes.

I found an article about Lou (is that his name?).
The only thing I know is that I haven't found those pictures yet and Nancy keeps saying that the next thing she has to do is open the panels (I guess they are the Needle panels) with the magnetic keys. In Trapper Dan's journal he says something about breaking down the walls. I don't know what else to tell you. Nobody has anything new to say to me.
The wolf followed my commands to the rope and held it taut while I got the pig key. Is there more to do with that map and the wolf? Am I supposed to be able to get in the wardrobe cabinets in the guest rooms? I got in one of them only. NDLVR mentions above about playing the Fox and Geese game. I've played it but not because I had to. Is there something I need to do to trigger that? Will the girl ever talk to me other than to give me the warm up packs?
Also, I have that contraption that is measuring something or other but I don't know what and if I should be finding something with that. Sorry, I don't know what it is called or supposed to be doing. When you click it in inventory, it goes to the bottom left of the screen and in various places it shows something active. You can mute it if it's too noisy (which it is).
I'm on to something. I am now playing Fox and Geese again using my pig magnet key (and of course, now I can't seem to win)!

I figured I might have to do the Fox and Geese game some more. Standing to the left of the kitchen door with the Geiger counter active doesn't help me. If you are talking about looking up at the moose head, I've done that several times. There's nothing new to see there or with the ram head or whatever it is on the other side of the Trapper Dan display. I'm getting frustrated again. The weekend is for playing but the game is not cooperating.

Sorry I haven't been able to be of more help - it's hard to know what exactly you are needing when the game is quite nonlinear. Here's a spoiler about the Geiger counter, if you care to read it: Click on the Geiger counter found at the shack. See the reading at bottom left of screen
Go down to main floor. Go right and go to the left side of the kitchen door.
See a high reading by the dinosaur bones stool-decor beside the stand with the lamp. Interesting.
Another positive reading on the display table is seen.
Go down to the basement, go forward after the stairs. Get another high reading, after the stairs to the cellar door.
Face the stairs and get the highest reading. Click on the bottom step.
Open the bottom step and get the wolf disk. I am hopeful that another player who remembers this game better than I do might be able to jump in and lend a hand. I remember that I had to resort to the walkthrough quite a few times when I played it.

Marian, I totally understand. It is not your fault at all!!! That is why I often just use the walkthrough if I need help in a non-linear game.
I just looked at your spoiler. I found that key but I really don't believe I had the Geiger counter on when I found it.
MaG,
If the secret hideout is the cabin in the woods where the wolf is hanging out, then yes I found it.
If the slot machine is the 3 rows/columns of animals (as mentioned in the journal) and unlocks the door into the tunnel, then yes I've done that.
I have 4 animal keys: wolf, raccoon, moose, and pig.
I did not use the Geiger counter to find any animals, so ??? Not sure about this. Although one of the keys seemed to appear out of nowhere and I don't really know how/where I got it. But, I don't think I had the Geiger counter then.
I have the wolf key in the panel in the tunnel, but I cannot open the other panels to put the keys in.
I have red eyes on the fox and geese table but don't know what that changed. I haven't yet found anything different.

You've done most of Trapper John's clues. Now you have to do the maze panel. Study it. The journal states: that your animal should be able to jump over pits and has paws or hooves. Now you have to lower the bars on that maze panel. To do that you have to win the fox-geese game for the appropriate animal.

OK. MaG - I have been trying to figure out what else needed doing with that maze panel. Thanks for confirming I'm not wasting my time working there. I'll keep at it and holler if I need more to go on. So, if you can answer this without telling me too much, I won the game using the pig key and it lit up the wolf eyes. Does this mean I won the game for the pig then and that's where I concentrate on in the maze panel? I guess I'm confused because it is not the pig's eyes that lit up and I've already done the wolf part of the maze and have the wolf key inserted in the panel. Thanks Marian. I'll probably jinx myself saying this, but I'm not too bad with the Fox and Geese game. I can win it at least 33% of the time I'll say. I'm not getting anywhere. An idea just formed in my head. Off to check it out!

Yes MaG, that is what finally struck me. I was thinking at first that I would use the different keys.
I just have to get the raccoon eyes lit now. The pig was hard!
Got all the panels open and am now in that next room. Need a rest!
