headscratch I recently downloaded the above-noted game. It seemed to download without problem, but I can't seem to figure out how to open it. When I click "Open" a get a flag that says "Open with..." but I can't seem to find (Or perhaps don't have) a program that is compatible. As a techno-dolt all I can add is that I still have the older "Anamedia" demo on my computer and it runs perfectly (Which is why I attempted "The Ruins of.." in the first place." Anyone have a suggestion?

If all the people were heroes, there would be no one to watch the parades.

Where did you download it from?
If you got it from here
http://gamejolt.com/games/the-ruins-of-riddoh/218706
it should have an ".exe" on the end

If you used IE to download, IE might have clipped the ".exe" off the end of the file. You'd have to rename the file to add the .exe to the end before running it.

EDIT --

If you got it from here
https://similiaworld.wixsite.com/similia/the-ruins-of-riddoh

it's a .7z file and you need 7-zip installed to open it.

You can get 7-zip from
http://www.7-zip.org/download.html

I haven't installed 7-zip recently, but since it's free software, watch the prompts carefully while installing to make sure it's not installing an unwanted toolbar. Make sure the appropriate checkboxes are checked or unchecked.

Recent versions of other archive programs can also open .7z files, so if you have Winzip or WinRAR you can try opening the file with one of those.

Thank you. That info sounds like what I need.

Note: I did get it from https://similiaworld.wixsite.com/similia/the-ruins-of-riddoh
