frown I have to come to the point where I discovered the mechanism in the Lion's mouth, explored the watch tower and entered the secret lab using the numbers from the back of Jude's picture. I am now stuck and would love a nudge in the right direction. I have noticed that everytime I leave the lab and go back in the time advances but I haven't done anything. I have already found the organs and questioned Anderson. I can't help but wonder if I am missing something in the lab but I tried the door to what looks like an operating room and Victoria and Darryl say it's impossible. What am I missing. Thank you fellow Gameboomers.

Ramona, in the lab you need to investigate a metal box, a drawer and a shelf.......

Thanks Jenny. I will try that. I must need to raise my view because I keep looking at the shelf and missing that. wave

I went into the lab and it advanced to 2:00. I still may be missing something. I found the bag of blood and syringe.

Hi Ramona,

Sorry I didn't get here sooner frown

Uhmm despite the time changes there are things that can be done later or sooner without affecting the progress of the game. Don't worry though you can't get locked out of doing anything by waiting til later.

You can use the syringe with something in the lab and then again with something in the dressing area off the pool area. This will help you with the van in the garage.

Also have you gotten the tape recorder? You need to get it working with something you can fnd in the fitness center upstairs.

If you have all that have you used it with a what you found in Corona's briefcase. Also you need to use the recorder's tone sequencer with the telephone in the office.

There's plenty to do in the old wing also.

Hope you are already past all this or if not this helps.

Laura

Thanks so much for the help from both Laura and Jenny. I am stubbornly trying to finish without using a walkthrough. So far so good. There are few things I need to try and both of you have put me on the right path.

wave JMK, I will give you a general hint. If you want a spoiler, please let me know. To get the maid to talk, you need to give her something and you must do this as Victoria. You will need to find a container outside. Also have you been to the basement? Once you have gone to the basement there is an item that you will need to use with the container.Once you have the new item, use it in the boiler room. I hope I didn't confuse you. I am not as good at this as Laura and Jenny. smile

Hi ramona:

Thanks! I sneaked and peaked at the hints so did find it. That was actually the first time I looked so I think I'm doing well. I guess it made sense, but, who would have thought to do that? lol You must be really good to be able to figure this game out without hints!

No JMK. I wish I were that good. I did get a hint here on the board about where get the container. It was where I had looked previously but I didn't lean over enough. Go figure! It's a fun and interesting game so far.

I spoke too soon!! I am starting to have to look at the hints now more. I got inside the old castle and the puzzles there are not easy to figure out!

It is fun, though. Good luck! wave

Hi ramona:

How are you doing with the game? I finally have had to resort to looking at the hints all the time. Sigh. It's not as intuitive a game as I thought it would be.

We are stuck at the same place I think. I still don't think I found the other item to put in the syringe. I am confused about what to do in the old castle. I did do one thing but the observatory has me confused and the clock that has movable hands. Iam going to play some more today. I agree that even though I am a stuck it is still a fun game. lol

Ramona, I'm not sure about your other problems, but the only thing that you need to put in the syringe is the nitric acid........

I found the nitric acid and mixed it with the sulfuric acid. The mixyure has to be used on something which I did.

Hi ramona:

That was a really tricky part for me. I had seen the sulphuric acid earlier but was looking for a container for it. I had no idea you had to use the syringe with bot acids at the same time! eek

The syringe thing I needed help on. I only had the sulfuric acid in the syringe for the longest time. Jenny was able to let me know that I had to add nitric acid. So far I have made it to opening Corona's briefcase. That was fun because I figured it. happydance

Can find the nitric acid in the bathroom off the swimming pool.

Never resist a generous impulse.

Hi ramona:

I finished this morning! happydance I admire you for doing so much on your own -- I had to look most of it up. My problem is, once I start looking at hints I can't stop, so I have to play as long as I can without them.

Have fun! It gets really exciting towards the end. wave

CONGRATULATIONS JMK! That's great that you are done. I am the exact same way when it comes to taking a peek. I took a peek earlier because I was hopelessly stuck. I was looking for one hint and found another smile . I really want to finish it tomorrow. I will have to settle for working on it when I get home from work. happydance
