I am at the beginning of the game and baffled already.I have just spoken to the caretaker and am standing next to some shelves that contain a chisel which I need to pick up.I see the chisel but when I put my cursor on it ,it doesnt recognize it.

I remember having a bit of trouble with this too...I seem to recall that you must make some comment about the carved figures on the top shelf which the caretaker carved with that chisel AND it makes a difference too just where you are standing when you try to pick it up, try off to the right of the desk while you are talking to Henry (about the carvings and the chisel). Hope this helps.

Liked this game but it was a real 'hair puller'

Yes I finally got the chisel.I figured out how to zoom in on an object and that did the trick.Thanks for checking back with me.
