I have started a new walkthrough for the game Lighthouse, currently on sale at gog.com. This walkthrough will be in English and in Dutch. By any chance, do you also have a WT for "OBSCURITAS"? I can't find any decent complete text WT for this game, and I find it difficult to follow those YOU TUBE walkthroughs.

I do not have the game Obscuritas, so I do not have a Wt for it. I did a search for the game and it took me to gog.com were I saw that Obscuritas is an horror game and that the price is 14,99 euro. I'm fat up with all does horror games, so I'm not willing to pay 14,99 euro for a game I do not like, just to do a walkthrough for it. Sorry

New update for the English Lighthouse Wt available on my Site. The Wt is bringing you into the laboratory and the puzzle box and the safe puzzles are solved. Are you not able to solve the puzzle box or the safe puzzle then you could use my saves. You can download those saves with the download link on the walkthrough. Included is a Read Me document that explains how to use my saves in your game

I shall update the Wt and the Save Game file with more Saves as a go along in the game. I'm playing the gog.com version of the gamne and that works with Scumm, so I do not know if my saves also works in the original game

Thank you for taking the time to look for a WT for Obcuritas, and I agree that the price is just too high for me as well, and the 14.99 Euros is even more in US dollars. I'm currently playing Lighthouse using your "easier" alternative WT, and doing well so far. Your work has added so much to our GB community, and we DO appreciate all that you provide us.

I checked GOG and Obscuritas is $14.99 there.
It has some really bad user reviews though.

However descriptions like the following put me off of trying it:

• Creeping shadows, huge spiders or terrifying monsters that are coming for you...
• While fighting your way through this nightmare...

It sounds more like survival horror than an adventure game to me.
I like games like Dark Fall, Lost Crown, Barrow Hill, and Scratches, but I don't like survival horror.

but I might enjoy this venue of a game. After all, I DID play 7th Guest and SHIVERS many moons ago, but I DID enjoy those at the time. Playing LIGHTHOUSE again now, just as an example.
HOWEVER,without a good text/image WT, It's out of the question fr me: No WT, NO game. LOL

Shivers and 7th Guest are not survival horror at all.
Neither is Lighthouse.

Survival horror is not adventure -- it's closer to action/adventure, sort of like SOMA before they allowed you to skip monster attacks.

Think of series like Silent Hill, Clocktower, Resident Evil, etc.
Monsters attack, but unlike an action/adventure you don't have tons of ammo and have to hide or run or use ammo very sparingly.

Wikipedia considers survival horror to be a sub-genre of action/adventure, but the inability to defend yourself makes it very different IMO.

Thanks for correcting that assessment of mine, Jenny. I should have said: "sometimes a little scary".
Now how about THESE titles: "PHANTASMAGORIA 1 and 2"? LOL

I just found a PARTIAL WT for Obscuritas on a site I won't name, but that's not good enough. I DID, however, put this game in my "shopping cart" on GOG, just in case I come across a FULL walkthrough in the near future.
