It will be interesting to see how well it works for people.

New Chrome Ad Blocker

Snuggled in my PC corner for the winter, my stinky Bloodhound and a few so-called barn cats at my side.

Here is an interesting article

What's really going on

I read another one today that said google browsers ignores the no tracking setting on the browser when you set it to not track. However I can't find that one now.

Yeah, I listened to a short piece on Marketplace on NPR about this on the way to bowling tonight.

Drac have you seen the Waterfox browser? I stumbled across that a few months ago. It is Firefox based and it is running like a charm on my machine. My Firefox was having issues just bits and pieces that annoyed me so I tried this one it even loaded all my Firefox bookmarks upon install. I have not turned on FF since.

No, I sure hadn't, oldmariner. I think I need to go check it out! I don't have any issues with Firefox at all though.

Pale Moon is another browser that's related to Firefox and is an alternative to Firefox. Like Waterfox, it can use the same add-ons as Firefox.
