The season premiere, 'Done Running,' launched today on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One across all regions, and on Nintendo Switch in North America.
Check out the trailer here. Visit the official website here. SAN RAFAEL, Calif., August 14th, 2018 -- Leading publisher and developer of digital entertainment Telltale Games, alongside Robert Kirkman's Skybound Entertainment, today premiered the inaugural episode of The Walking Dead: The Final Season, a new four-part game series that will conclude the journey of Telltale's iconic survivor Clementine.
Episode one, 'Done Running,' is now available for download on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One across all regions. It is also available digitally on Nintendo Switch in North America and will launch on Switch in other regions later this month. The full season is available for $19.99 USD. Episode one can now be downloaded immediately upon purchase, and all subsequent episodes will become available for download as they are released.
In addition, episode one voice packs and translations are currently available for download within the episode. The Walking Dead: The Final Season has been fully dubbed in French, German, Latin-American Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese. It has also been subtitled in French, German, Latin-American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Russian, and both traditional and simplified Chinese.
Season Description: Clementine, now a fierce and capable survivor, has reached the final chapter in her journey. After years on the road facing threats both living and dead, a secluded school might finally be her chance for a home. But protecting it will mean sacrifice. Clem must build a life and become a leader while still watching over AJ, an orphaned boy and the closest thing to family she has left. In this gripping, emotional final season, you will define your relationships, fight the undead, and determine how Clementine's story ends. • Emotional, Gut-Wrenching Story - See Clementine's journey through to the end. As she builds a new life, you will have to grapple with new types of choices and live with the consequences as AJ looks on, learning from your every move. • More Control, More Tension - A new over-the-shoulder camera system, greater freedom to explore detailed environments, and scenes with unscripted combat capture the fear of living in a world overrun by the undead and create the most engaging The Walking Dead game yet. • Striking New Visual Style - The all-new Graphic Black art style rips the ink from the pages of the Eisner Award-winning comic book series and brings the world of The Walking Dead to life like never before. Supports 4K resolution and high dynamic range on compatible devices.
Happy Gaming, Ana

Teassoc, I had the exact same problem with the camera. I turned the sensitivity all the way down, and it still flew all over the place. I was able to manage it okay until I got to the section with the traps and the trees. Poor Clementine ended up dying several times before I finally looked at a few YouTube videos to get some ideas. I found the best strategy was to use the first trap, then keep backing up, stun a zombie, back up again, then kill the zombie. Keep repeating until all zombies are taken care of. Backing up is the key and was most helpful for me. Otherwise, too many will rush you at once, and you won't be able to get out of it. I haven't played episode 2 yet because I'm waiting for more news regarding the remaining episodes, but I've read there is a similar problem with a bow and arrow sequence. I don't think it's that the sequences themselves are so difficult, it's the fact that the camera is uncontrollable, and it's making things far more difficult than they have to be. From the YouTube videos I've seen, many players don't have the wild camera problem, so it must only be an issue on certain computers. Unfortunately, we were among the unlucky ones. The episode is definitely worth getting through, as I think it's some of Telltale's best work since Season 1 in terms of storytelling. Hopefully, Skybound will have some news soon about the remaining episodes. I read that they are trying to hire as many of the old developers as possible to complete the season. Good luck with the rest of the game! Hope the camera doesn't give you too much trouble.

Teassoc, sorry to hear backing up is not working for you. This is the only way I was able to get through, so unfortunately, I don't have any other tips. The only thing I can say is that I would back up, stun a zombie, back up again, then kill the zombie. Repeat for the next zombie, and so on. I think there are only 3 you will need to kill this way, provided you used the trap on the first zombie. When you're backing up, are you stunning first then backing up a second time? It's important to back up after the stun because otherwise, the ganging up you mentioned will happen regardless. Not sure if that will be helpful to you or not, as you may have already tried this, but just in case, I'll leave that suggestion there. As in your case, going for a second trap never worked for me, as it involves too much running around with a swinging camera. If all else fails, you can watch some different YouTube videos and see if any of them have any more suggestions/strategies. I had to watch two of three before I discovered the back up, stun, back up, kill strategy that finally solved my problem. Hope you are able to find something that works for you!

Teassoc, great, I'm glad you were able to get through it! I was never able to use that second trap, so it just goes to show that the same strategies may not work for everyone. Congratulations, and good luck with the rest of the game! That's definitely the worst sequence in episode 1, so you should be fine after that. Let me know how the bow and arrow section of episode 2 goes if you get that far. I haven't played that episode yet. Glad you are enjoying the game otherwise. I agree, and I think it's one of Telltale's better games. If only the camera problem were fixed, it would be nearly perfect.

Teassoc, were you finally able to get past the bow and arrow section, or are you still working on it? I'm also hoping this mouse issue will be fixed eventually.

That's what I was afraid of. I haven't played that far myself, but I imagine I'll have the same problem. Have you tried looking at this guy's video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wxshpTfM...gDO37GJwCd5p0k? I haven't watched the whole thing, as I don't want to be spoiled too much, but I did watch the bow and arrow section just to get an idea of what I had to look out for. He seems to know exactly where to look and aim. The section begins at around 2:20:40. Not sure if it will help you or not, as I know you're dealing with the camera issue, but I thought it might give you an idea as to which zombies to focus on first. Good luck! I hope you're able to get through the section and move on with the game! EDIT: Also, I believe I saw that some people had luck with lowering the resolution. I'm not sure what settings you're using, but if they're on high, you might try lowering them for just that section and then turning them back up again when it's over.

Sorry you couldn't get through it, teassoc. I don't know if saved games work on Tell Tale games, but perhaps you can ask if someone has one in the Hints forum. Amna
