I just bought this today from GOG Galaxy. I played up to the point where Amanda is taken, but when I went to save my game, nothing happened. I double clicked the lighthouse at the bottom left, and NADA--- No options to save or anything.

The GOG version of the game uses ScummVM, not the original game engine, so the original method of saving likely won't work.

Try the usual ScummVM save system

The F5 key brings up the save menu in nearly all games that use ScummVM.

I'm playing Lighthouse at the moment - the GOG version - on Win7 - and I'm not having any difficulties with the Save/Load menu.

It sounds like a silly question but have you tried just clicking ONCE on the lighthouse icon, dorish, and not "double clicking" ??
That's what I do.

Hi, I played Sunday, Monday, and today, and everything is working fine. Mad, I guess you are right, and I was double clicking the lighthouse.
