I also read on their Facebook page that they were going to be doing updates to the game I think I will wait for a while and let them get the game updated before buying

I guess I'm almost a quarter of the way through. Judging from the directions, the game also can be played with a controller.
I'm so thoroughly hooked that I only stopped because I became thoroughly stumped and bamboozled yet I refuse to look at the guide* because thus far True Fear: Forsaken Souls Part Two is worth savoring and keeps me from reading the news while biting my fingernails.
The graphics surpass those in the first game by several powers, and the adventuring is more complex. The set-up is reminiscent of the opening of an MCF I liked in that a team of paranormal investigators preceded our heroine's mysterious appearance. The setting is an ostensibly long abandoned Art Deco asylum. Medical grunge is not slowing me down. That is saying something; in general I favor beauty over poking through detritus in and around a derelict institution, never mind that architecturally the buildings have good bones. Plenty of real bones here, heh, heh, heh.
*Come to think of it, I'm not sure there is a guide yet. I'll check.

If Goblinz had not teazed--spelled with a "z" in honor of the company name--with a phrase on the order of "to be continued" at the conclusion of Part One, it would have stood on its twisted, curlicued, and spiraling own much as Shadow Shelter from Nevosoft does.

Thanks Marian. I was just wondering about this game. As always, you are on it.
