Please list point and click adventure games as they are the ones I love to play. Or possibly games like Gabriel knight 3 or broken sword 3 types. I loved the longest journey and would like similar games with huge storys and good longativity and style. I prefere adventure games with lots of people to talk to as i like that bit in adventure games (voice acted people). Games I have played before and probably still have are: TLJ Tex Murphy - Overseer and UAKM In Cold Blood Drunna MG - bought for a pound at a pound shop lol Discworld Noir All of the monkey island games SW KOTOR Sacred Gabriel Knight 3 Riddle of Master Lu Baulders gate 1 and 2 (prefere xbox version and the co-op myself) Simon 1 2 and 3 Indiana Jones FOA and emporers tomb The Dig - played recently and loved it Space Quest 4 Leisure Suit Larry games King Quest 1 and 3 (i think) Police Quest 1 2 and remake of 1 (prefere original 1 not vga one). Morrowing - elder scrolls (bit boring i thought and fps trouble in hubs) Broken Sword 2, also had 1 but couldn't play cos of compatability problems or somit) Most startrek Adventure games and space sims. Both CSI 1 and 2. (not bad but too easy) So any games you think i should try can u please list them

Hi Skeeter and to GameBoomers! Here are some great point and click adventures: The Myst Series Dark Fall & Dark Fall 2 Aura Fate of the Ages Alida Rhem (very puzzle heavy) The Cameron Files 1 & 2 Beyond Atlantis (also called Atlantis 2) Amerzone Also, a really good quite old game, if you can find it, is Dragonsphere. It's about the same era as the Kyrandia games. Have fun! WW

Thanks for the welcome WW I did once play Legend of Kyrandia on the amiga as a friend lent me it for a bit, was ok but a bit weird with the crystals or gems or whatever u collected and all that. Brother got Myst Masterpiece Edition but its first person and not very interesting I thought. I like 3rd person view ones, like Simon T Sorcerer or TLJ types.

You might like Uru, then. It's kind of a spin-off from Myst and you don't need to have played them to play it. And it can be either 1st person or third, but actually works better in third. I didn't think I'd like it because I trend to like 1st person games more, but I'm playng it now and enjoying the heck out of it.

Hi Skeeter and to Gameboomers! Sounds like you enjoy the same sort of adventures that I do, with lots of conversation and story. I would second Louis' idea of Moment of Silence. Great story, third person, lots of conversation. Some others I don't see on your list: Syberia the first two Discworlds The Crystal Skull Arthur's Knights And since you do play RPGs, Have you played Divine Divinity? It's a great one! For an action/adventure, there's Beyond Good and Evil and Zanzarah. Oh, and the Egytian Prophecy isn't Egypt II.

Thanks for the welcome back Nickie. Dont mention Beyond Good and Evil, i recommended it to my brother and he bought it and i feel really bad now as he didnt like it, he likes adventure games too, and i must admit its weird game and definately not really a adventure game and its more like a action/platform game. I am currently bidding for syberia collection (1 and 2) on ebay so hope to get that. Mainly for brother as his birthday is same as mine (hope for kotor 2 off him hehe) and besides i dont have a dvd drive and the syberia 2 pack is a dvd version. Oh and I also have QFG4 Shadow of Darkness (aint played it really) and The Ward. The Ward is weird it wasnt too bad when u get to meet ppl in it but the begining is hard and confusing, only got through a bit of it cos of a walkthrough. (i will die in hell for that lol "walkthrough"... I liked the demo on psx of discworld 2 and really wanted to get it but these days its expensive as its rare on pc. Is URU like TLJ?

It sounds like you like a lot of character interaction and URU is similar to the rest of the Myst games in that there isn't anyone else--just you. So maybe you wouldn't like it (or any of my recommendations, really, as I tend to like puzzle-y things more than character-y things). WW

Don't forget Still Life, coming out next month. I downloaded the demo, and can't wait until I get it.

I don't think you would like Dark Fall, then. it is just you in a house alone with puzzles to solve and spooky things to experience. If that kind of thing is an absolute no go for you, Dark Fall and its brother won't be your cup of tea at all.
But some I left off my list because they were too character heavy for me (among other things) are:
Journey to the Center of the Earth Mystery of the Druids The Watchmaker Jack the Ripper
Can't remember if anyone else has mentioned those or not.

Hi Skeeter Have you played The Feeble Files? If not, I think you might like it, it is very like the Simon the Sorcerer games, am not sure but I think its by the same company. Sue
