I'm looking for game sites that allow me to download then play without being connected to the internet. The only site I know of is GOG. I'm sure there are others. I'm interested in adventure/puzzle games. I know some time ago there was a list here on GB but I can't find it now. Can anyone help me out?

Steam also allows you to play many of their games off-line.

I know they do but directions to do so are a bit technical and complicated for me. It would be easier if I could find a site that lets me download the game, install and play without an internet connection.

If you like the Carol Reed mysteries, MDNA games lets you download, install and play with no need for an internet connection after the download.

The games from Fireflower Games are also DRM-free and don't require an Internet connection to play.

No need for an Internet connection after you download.
No need for online activation after installing.

No need for a client to download the game -- just use your web browser.

Fireflower games looks promising. Lots of games I've never heard of before. Thanks for the link.

I also get DRM Free games from "Itch.io" and I don't think I have to have an internet link to play them once downloaded smile
