Not sure how you feel about quick time events or horror games, but just in case, there are two PS4 exclusive games that I would play if I had one myself.
(I've had to settle for living vicariously by watching playthroughs on YouTube.
) One is Detroit: Become Human. This game has a great story and voice acting plus really beautiful graphics. It does have quick time events, so getting the game would depend whether or not you felt comfortable with them being there.
The other game is Until Dawn, which is a horror game and also has quick time events. Also, you may or may not consider the characters obnoxious, but I think they do a good job for the most part of showing different sides of them later. I still didn't get as attached to them as I have to characters in many other games, but I enjoyed them for what they were. The story in the game is very fun, and the graphics are beautiful.
I've also played all of Marian's suggestions (with the exception of Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter, as it looks too action oriented for me) and have very much enjoyed every single one of them.
