Some time back I remember playing a rather cheesy but fun adventure game called Eye the Curse of Isis with one of my grandsons. He installed a trainer/cheat for this game as without it we always died and had to keep starting over. I recently bought this game again for under 1 dollar and it installed and plays just fine. However as before I keep getting killed. I found the same trainer/cheat my grandson used but I have no idea how to
install and use it. He is not available to come and help me do this so I was hoping someone could give me some simple instructions to do install and use the trainer in my game. Thank you for any help. I have looked on
the internet but am still somewhat confused.

Look in the trainer file and see if there is a Readme file. Sometimes instruction for how to use these are in there.

I don't know if this is the same one, but the instructions for the one I found at gamecopyworld say this.

Curse v1.0 [US/ENGLISH] Fixed EXE
28-10-2003

Play Instructions:
Install the game - Full Installation.
Replace the original CURSE.EXE file with the one from the File Archive.
Play the Game!

The "Fixed EXE" is a NoCD.
The original version of Curse: The Eye of Isis shipped with the evil StarForce v3 so wouldn't work on modern Windows without the NoCD.

Linda333 seems to have a reissue version that doesn't have the StarForce.

The Trainer on the gamecopyworld page is called Curse v1.0 +2 TRAINER
So that's what Linda would need to download.

They claim it's for Windows 7 and below.

How to use a trainer probably depends on the trainer. Usually they come as a zip or rar file that contains instructions.

It's been a long time since I used a trainer, and I don't remember if I started the game first and then ran the trainer or if I ran the trainer first and then the game. The trainer I had used hotkeys for god mode. This was over 15 years ago on Windows 98, so it's probably more difficult to run them now because of Windows security. A lot of trainers are wrongly flagged as virus because they use keyloggers.

I have a couple of trainers (for God Mode in RPG's) and they came as zip files, which, when opened, Norton didn't like at all and they were promptly quarantined !!
But as I knew they were perfectly fine, I persuaded Norton to let me use them

In all instances, they came with full instructions once unzipped.

And in all instances, the trainer had to be launched and active before the game itself got launched.

They are for use with my Win7 machine.
