I would suggest that you go back and look over the walkthrough carefully. There's no way for me to know exactly what you have done/haven't done up to this point, so that is unfortunately the only advice that I have to offer.

well I got all 4 statues , did every thing in the rotating room ,have the Brahman seal went to the storage room but which one is it ? the clock is ticking and i keep dieing. the walkthrough said put it in the center urn standing on the floor. but as I look for it I die. what urn is it ? the name.

Have you tried looking at a walkthrough video on YouTube for this part? Both walkthroughs I looked at refer to it as the "center urn" and give no more description than that, so I have no way of giving any more detail about it.

Yes, the timer spoiled the game.
Also, if you don't see a "center urn" you may not be where the walkthrough expects you to be.
Maybe there's a close-up that puts an urn clearly in the center?
Best thing is to check a video walkthrough if you can't find it, like Marian suggested.

I don't know where the door latch is because I haven't played the game and the walkthrough is not specific about this. Maybe look at a walkthrough on YouTube if you can't locate it.

I think so. But after you get through the next section, there is another timed sequence according to the walkthrough.

thanks, with just a few save spots it hard to keep going once you die. i'm at the part where i put the brahman seal in the urn ,i saved it there but as i turn to click out of there and go to the treasure room just befor i click on the latch I die ....so it looks like i need to find a save game befor this part so i can keep going ! now that is going to be hard.

As Jenny pointed out earlier in this thread, there are some saved games here. I don't know whether they would work for you or not, but it is something to consider.

First you need to download the saved game that you need from the website that I linked you to; choose to download the file and save it somewhere where you will be able to find it, such as your desktop or in your downloads folder. The next step is figuring out where the game files are located on your hard drive. What Windows operating system are you running the game on?

Now you need to locate the game folder on your hard drive - it might be under the name of the game, or sometimes it might be the company name (in this case, Frogwares). See if you can figure out where it is.

I am going to be gone for several hours today so if I don't reply to one of your posts right away, hopefully someone else will see this and can help you out further.

I am still busy and am thinking that it would probably be better for you to post over in Glitches, as this is a technical discussion anyway that doesn't really belong in this forum. Tell Jenny that you are trying to download and install a saved game for Mystery of the Mummy and she should be able to guide you through the process. Tell her you have the saved game downloaded to your desktop and need to know what to do next. wave

You can open zip files using Windows Explorer.
Right-click the file and choose Extract All.

If you want a 3rd party program for unzipping files, I'd recommend 7-zip, which is free.
