I hit a stand still Marian.
MAYBE you can give me a push. If not I will look at the walkthrough. I cannot open the roll top part of the desk in the tower. I did open the drawer so I have the last doll puzzle drawing, however, I don't have the last doll. I also don't have a key for the chest in the hut. I've come up with this as a clue "spun to q will do"?? I have extra cotton. Also, I have a drawing of the clovers where you figure out the numbers that each clover represents (which I've done but haven't figured out where/how to use that information).
So, what I know I need but don't know which I need first to proceed, is a key for a chest, a code for the desk, and a doll.
If this information doesn't help you to give me a push, just say so. No problem!
Thanks.

I am going to give you a little bit from the walkthrough - hopefully this will help. The paper from the coffee table has the picture of the desk lock.
The desk lock needs 5 letters. There are 4 books in the list and the drawing of the island with the N5 etched on it.
Each of the 4 books an has inscription on the inside cover. These are the clues to the letter. If you need more: Based on the etching on the rock in the island, one of the letters is N and it is in the 5th position.
Let's check the inscription in each book for the first 4 letters.

Yes and yes. I've also put the top of the rocket on and the fin or whatever it is called and played around with the wires. Where the 3 switches are, when I flip the first switch up, I get a green light. I've pushed the red button and blown up numerous times. I cannot make sense of the launching notes or the chemical chart and don't see anything else to interact with, and this is causing me to become bored quickly, which is why I don't like being stuck in a small area. If I could go play games at the inn while thinking and inbetween trying stuff it would be better. Thanks. This may be where I need the walkthrough. Let me know.

I believe you need to complete the chemical sorting to continue (you'll need the key that the chemicals are all blocking) I have found the walkthough here to be the best (it'll tell you which chemicals go to which bin) If you try that and still keep blowing up (which can happen if you bump a chemical, have the grabber in the wrong position or something along those lines) and need a video walkthough, I can point you to a couple

Thanks NDLVR. I have tried moving each of the chemicals that I can reach and have tried with different grabber openings but still keep blowing up. I will, however, try that again to make sure I have tried EACH option as I may not have done that.
Well, this is helping me to get somewhere NDLVR, so thank you again. Did I already mention though, that I'm finding this game tedious??

I finished the game. Thanks Marian and NDLVR for the pushes I needed! One thing I didn't like about the game was having 4 doll puzzles and the seating arrangement puzzle which was the same type of puzzle. Nothing wrong with the puzzle, just too many times. Well, the 4th doll puzzle did not have to be completed in order to finish the game but being me, I felt compelled to go back in the game to do that last puzzle anyway . I did NOT replay the chemical puzzle afterward though.
