Oh, I just love this series but I'll have to wait a little longer for it because I don't buy CE's

Hi, Marian!
I still really enjoy the series and have played every game, but I found that each successive game was becoming shorter and shorter. I just didn't feel as though I was getting my money's worth when I was finishing them in about 4 to 4-1/2 hours (including the bonus chapter), so now I wait until the SE is released and then pick it up with a coupon. I do play in the easiest mode, though, because I don't want to give up the locations on the map where there are things to do, so that might make a difference.

Hi, Marian! If memory serves me correctly (and that's not always the case these days ), the first few games in the series were quite long, but they progressively got shorter. I've become more selective and only buy a CE if I really love the game and feel it's worth the price, or if there's a really good sale. That way, there are always SEs of games I haven't played yet and I can use up my coupons. I have beta-tested a few games recently that I really enjoyed, so I hope we won't have to wait too long until they are released. One of them was another mish-mash of characters from different games we played from that particular developer, which was a lot of fun. Susan

Hi, Marian! I have no idea how Big Fish goes about selecting its beta testers for each game. I've been receiving more offers than usual, including Time Management games that I have never played and have no desire to play, so I just delete them. It's fun to play a game that contains characters from several other games, even though you'd love to whack some of those characters over the head with a cast iron skillet !! Susan
