All this damage down south is just sickening. All of your belonging gone. This got me thinking [It happens sometimes] i know we have our favorites and collector games, but what are your keepers. What if you could not replace any game you lost. You only had room for five games packing to leave[no you can't leave any of the kids instead] ,what would you pick? Remember you can't replace any games later. Mine would be 1.Riven 2.Syberia 3.Syberia#2 4.URU 5.Sanitarium 6.Amerazone I know i listed six.I decided to leave the cat!!!!

In such circumstances I'd go for the Epic classic games. Long. One 40 hour games equals two 20 hour games.
Tex Murphy, Under a Killing Moon Tex Murphy, Pandora Directive Gabriel Knight 2 Gabriel Knight 3 The Longest Journey
Huhm, except maybe Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. Then again, I really enjoyed the light hearted humor of The Secret of Monkey Island.
I still have all the games I ever bought, except a few on 5.25" discs that I trashed and wished I hadn't now. I'd leave them all behind to save my cats or any other life, reality always trumps fantasy.

WHAT only 5. Okay but in no particular order : Syberia Syberia 2 Still Life Grim Fandango Black Mirror But all could change as currently playing Nibiru and just loving it, if the same level enjoyment lasts till the end then which one will have to give way. Oh decisions decisions, to early in the morning for such life changing decsions

Tough to narrow down to 5, but I would have to go with: 1. Obsidian (I'm sure that no matter how many times I play this I would still have to puzzle my way through it) 2. Riven (Just for being able to roam around in) 3. Schizm (I love the graphics and the math puzzles in this one) 4. Myst V (I've only just started but am already loving it) 5. Zork Grand Inquisitor ((You have to have some humor in your life)

My games always become keepers. I hate to part with any. Choosing only 5 is next to impossible! I think I would have to choose according to which are the hardest to replace (old, rare) games. Probably Obsidian, Black Dahlia, Reah, Zorks, Sanitarium, Gabriel Knights, Tex Murphys, Longest Journey. I would also have to grab some of my newer favorites also - Dark Falls, Syberias & Still Life. Then again, there are the computers! would need to grab both of them and at least one monitor. See, I told you it was impossible. :)j Of course during a hurricane, the games would never be able to come with me unless I started packin days in advance. I would need all my strength to gather my cats, food, water and other necessities before worrying about games. Carrying the two little fatsos is just about more than I can handle and they would be my first priority. I've never had to evacuate luckily, just rode them out, but if I did, i would spend so much time decidig that I'd probably just grab the first bunch I found. Melanie

so we can take 5 adventures and other games too?? Hope so, I couldn't leave my Sims collection behind, or Pandoras Box (good of Microsoft to name a game after one of our mods )!! Adventures would have to be (based on my replay rate) - Day of the tentacle Syberia Faust Remedy (for quiet reflective moments) Riven (cause I have never managed to finish it as puter has always been rebuilt in the middle of playing!!)

A bounce a day keeps the doctor away!! Playing Sims2, Sherlock, Phantom of Venice Reading Storm Breaking

Very interesting choices so far ... to them I will add : 1.) StarCraft 2.) Myst 3.) Baldurs Gate II : Shadows of Amn 4.) Neverwinters Night 5.) Diablo II I've *invested* ( notice I did not use the word wasted ) many many hours into each of the above and could easily do so again ... and again ... and again ....

It's funny you would say that, ron.etti, because just recently I went through that for real - hurricane Rita was bearing down on us, and I knew I had limited space to put stuff in the truck. I grabbed around ten, taking them out of the boxes. The first five I grabbed were: Touche, Discworld, GK2, Divine Divinity and Zanzarah. What I called a real twisty list!
