Hi, Marian!

Excellent choice! I played that one about 3 weeks ago and really enjoyed it. I think you will as well.

I played the Demo and was sold on it, too. I also like the self-referential content. The game play is the usual. So far, it feels a little easier than some of the other MCF games. I enjoyed those really complex multi-part puzzle "doors" of some earlier games. I definitely plan to buy this game.

Hi, Reenie!

If you're a Club member, you can pick it up today for $6.99. I've been playing for about an hour and am thoroughly enjoying it because there's lots to see and do. I did get stuck on part of the first large puzzle until I discovered what I was doing wrong, and then I kicked myself smile .

Sorry you didn't like it, my10. Maybe you will like the next Mystery Case Files game more, which comes out later this year.

Thanks for the heads up Marian, I tried the demo and will get it on the next BOGO sale, it looks quite good at least from the demo.
I also demo'd Grim Tales - Guest From The Future and it looks good enough to pair up with the MCF game.

A quick mistake - in the Bonus Game, the first HOP an item is called "Isolation Tape." It should read "Insulation Tape.

It's only confusing because there happens to be a roll of 'Police line do not cross' tape among the objects.

I think I would have figured that out, but good to know. I guess they decided to add a little extra challenge to the search. grin

I played the game and enjoyed it but I did hit a glitch towards the end (I didn't have what I needed to fix the elevator and couldn't go back to get it) and had to start over again. I think they have an update now, not sure. wavegirl

An update for the game was released a few days ago - hopefully it fixes the problem you were having.

Actually, Isolation Tape is correct verbage. It is slightly thicker and sometimes has foam backing to keep sound out. Hard to tell on a roll unless its sideways to see what it looks like. I'll look when I get there.

I finished Moths to a Flame last night and thoroughly enjoyed playing the game. I have to say I enjoyed it much more than the past few in the series. I'll be looking forward to The Crown.

Now I'm just trying to decide on which games to grab with the BOGO Sale. I still have several on my manager I haven't even played yet. lol

I noticed that, too, after a LOT of head-scratching. ha ha I finished the game this week and loved it all the way. Lots of complicated puzzles.

But Ana then pointed out that there is such a thing as Isolation Tape and that this is not a mistake. (see above post)

I am glad to hear that you enjoyed the game. smile
