wave Hi Connie,

The link to order is here: mulawa.net . If the option for 2x is not there, you could email Peter from the link on the same page.

I have a few questions: wave
Now I have another question. Just finished the doll puzzle. Got the finished music and final automatic positioning of the puzzle. But, I do not have the center piece of the face for the doll on the left. Moved the puzzle all over, no missing piece. Has this happened to anyone else?

Joanie, I'm new on this myself (in fact I just managed to tear the doll puzzle back apart in an attempt to save another one blush ). But if you push "H" on your keyboard, you will get a menu, and there are a couple of things on that which sound as though they would reveal a missing piece. For instance, you could slide the almost finished puzzle down, put your cursor up to the top and press "T"...

Joanie, sometimes a piece does not show. If you hit A it will show in its correct position.
I don't think the number of jigsaws would slow down the operation of the computer but of course it is difficult to say without knowing how large your computer is and what operating system you are using.
There are only a few jigsaws that I would call really really difficult and they are well spaced out. I think the moving jigsaws are more difficult than most of the ordinary ones. I hate to say this - but I think you can become addicted to these. I think it is probably just as well that Peter only produces a maximum of 2 a week smile

Hi everyone,

Just returned from a little holiday - hence my lack of response to all your questions. I must say it's a real treat to read that so many of you are enjoying the puzzles. And thank you to all the "old-timers" who helped out with answers in my absence.

Jenny mentioned a Castle pic from a game - I rarely use unoriginal material because I'm uncertain on the copyright situation.

And ... no .... I haven't been deluged ... and ... yes ... I do love to receive contributions from as many people as possible ... this assists greatly in creating a variety.

Here's an example of how a piece goes "missing" - you have one piece in box 1 - you press 1 and the piece becomes visible - BUT if you press 1 again it becomes invisible. Pressing A will Always make All pieces visible.

As to the question of space - the PJs take very little space - but if this is a problem, e-mail me and I'll tell you how to delete them as you go. They certainly won't slow down your PC in any way.

As to the question of unfinished housework ... PJs are guaranteed to exacerbate this problem. Maybe I should introduce a one-a-year subscription for folk with this dilemma.

Peter

Well, Peter, the PJs definitely exacerbated my "unfinished housework and unfinished yard work" issues too! I signed up for the trial subscription, but never got any more puzzles after the first one. I thought this was probably for the best, but in a weak moment sent you an e-mail which I'm sure you will get to eventually. Don't hurry! I have work to do!!

Hi Peter, My mother loves these puzzles and I had sent her a subscription for her Birthday. She is 87 yrs.young and going to purchase a new computer. Is there some how I can copy the program onto a disk for her so I can put it on her new computer? Thanks Diane

Hi Diane,

What usually happens is that you e-mail me and request all the PJ links that I've sent to date. Then you re-install the demo and all the PJs on the new PC.

Hope this helps ... Peter

Draclvr, the twice-a-week puzzles that some of us have been talking about are only available by subscription. The free trial should bring you a new puzzle every Saturday. If you've missed a Saturday, I'm sure Peter will take care of it when he gets caught up with his e-mail.

Peter, I can't tell you how delighted I am that you are getting a good response to your offer... happydance

Hi Jenny,

The response has been overwhelming and folk are still taking up my offer.

Draclvr is now ok - an exchange of e-mails sorted out the problem - a mistyped e-mail address.

Again ... I encourage anyone who has "signed up" and who hasn't received a new e-mail jigsaw by this Saturday to e-mail me directly.

Peter

Thanks, Peter--I knew that you would get it sorted out quickly. And I see what you mean about the castle picture and copyrights--I hadn't thought of that. Too bad, it would have made a gorgeous puzzle... frown

Jenny, can you point us towards something that will show what you like. Perhaps we can produce a picture that although not the same you would enjoy as much

Well, I must say I am still enjoying these a lot. I'm doing the doll puzzle right now and am even managing to do it without getting the computer to put the pieces the right way up first!

Another Big Mailout and ... for some ... the end of their month's trial ... many thanks to the many who have renewed already.

And still some bounces ... if you subscribed and your "This Week's Jigsaw" e-mail hasn't arrived yet, please e-mail me directly so we can sort it out. In some cases it's simply a typo ... in others your system is not set up to accept my e-mail. Obviously I can't reach you so please contact me.

And the offer's still open - see the start of this thread for details.

I'm thoroughly enjoying these puzzles! But I have a question about my "gallery": When I view my gallery, it shows as the 3rd puzzle a bunch of beautiful red roses, but I haven't gotten that one. The ones that follow it in the gallery I have gotten, but not the roses. Isn't the gallery for puzzles I've already received?

The answer is....chocolate! Who cares what the question is.....
